I am giving up, waving the flag. The germs are winning. Seriously though will the runny noses, coughs ever end. Seems like JUST when everyone seems to be over it, it comes back full force!! I am tired of being sick and tired......ahhhhhhh!!

In other news I am trying to prepare myself for next week! It's shaping up to be a killer week for activities. Monday my daughter has a dress rehearsal for her ballet show, then Tuesday is the actual show. Wednesday we have a Light Festival thing at her school and I need to bring a dish for the buffet and I signed up to make cookies. Thursday we have to go to a friends for a Christmas get together and then Friday we have a Saint Lucia thingy at my daughters after school place. Honestly that is just to many activities in one week!! LOL

Lastly today I have a LO to show off. I think it is really cute! You can see the credits for it HERE.

Good Morning Sunshine!!

Yes, hard to believe but we DO in fact have sunshine today, of course it is -3 outside, but hey, we can't always get what we want!! LOL I hope you had a great weekend, ours was nice. Saturday we had a school event, so we went to that and then finished up grocery shopping. Sunday Sophia was suppose to have riding lessons but didn't feel like going so we stayed home. I think we are going to take a break from riding until after the holidays. We have so many events and stuff to do basically every weekend until the new year that it would be hard to fit the lesson in every week.

In scrapping news I have a couple LO's to show off today. The first is using the new kit from Traci Reed AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT. Such a cute kit! I also used the font DJB SOPHEE1 from Darcy's EURO FONT pack. You can nab the kit and the font both at Sweet Shoppe Designs.

Foodie Friday!!

Hey everyone! It is that time of week again when my blog becomes "all things food related" LOL

I have a rather nifty little "gadget" this week. I always have my sea salt in a little bowl next to my stove for easy nabbing and when I saw the following salt cellar I immediately added it to my Christmas Wish List!

Ok, on to this weeks menu! My in laws left for Rome last week and left us with a duck and two pheasants that DH will be cooking up this Sunday. Yummo!!

• Sat- School Event so some sort of Take Out.
• Sun- Roasted Duck and Pheasant, Brown Potatoes, Red Cabbage.
• Mon- Leftovers.
• Tues- Frozen Pizza.
• Wed- Rosemary Chicken Breasts, Brown Butter and Balsamic Ravioli, Warm Spinach Salad with Pancetta and Sweet Vinaigrette.
• Thur- Lentil & Bulgur Pilaf with Green & Yellow Squash.
• Fri- Spaghetti - Meatballs - Salad.

Short and sweet today as I have a ton of things to do and little man is spoting a fever, runnny nose and cough. :( I have a couple new LO's to show off today! The first is made with Dani Modstad's new SWEET NOVEMBER kit over at Sweet Shoppe Designs. Such a gorgeous kit!!



My second LO is made with the new collab kit NOEL CHIC from Biscontine and Catherine Designs. Another gorgeous kit! Look for it out today and tomorrow. :)

Middle of the week ramblings....

Hi everyone! Hope your having a great week. We are rather busy this week. My daughter has "Feature Week" at school this week so classes are from 9-13 and tomorrow she is off on her very first field trip, so that is exciting. Saturday is some sort of "Saturday School" that the whole family is invited to. Just some fun activities and they sent a paper home reminding us to wear a Santa hat.. LOL. Last night when I was getting Sophs ready for bed I caught her singing the Santa Lucia song and asked her where she learned that. Apparently they have been learning the song and the walk at her after school place and we will be invited for the celebration on December 13th. If you are interested you can read about the holiday HERE. She was so adorable, I can't wait to go and see it!! In other news Luca had a great birthday, he loved his gifts and cake and our friends came over with their son for a little visit, so a good time was had by all. Of course it is cold central here again with myself, Luca and Sophia all sporting wicked coughs and runny noses..sigh. Oh, oh, oh, exciting news also. They are predicting snow for this weekend!! LOL Fingers crossed we get some. I'd love a blizzard. Last year we had a sad 1 inch all winter. Ok, so enough rambling for today. I hope you have a good one and until next time..TATA!!

Happy Birthdat My Little Man!!

I can't believe my baby is 4!? How did this happen, it seems like just yesterday I was in extreme pain trying to push his stubborn butt out! LOL Time flies way to fast. :( I have to finish decorating his cake today and he gets to pick what we have for dinner and he wanted "rabioli" from nono's (my FIL's) restaurant, so we will have that and then open a couple gifts. That will wrap things up for today, short and sweet! I have a ton of things to do, so until next time TATA!!

Foodie Friday, A Toot and a New LO!!!!!

It's a mix bag today here on my little corner of cyberspace! I am so excited that it is Friday!! Tomorrow we are decorating for Christmas and I get my Starbucks, ya, so give me the low down, which holiday flavor is the best??

In scraping news I am super excited to be a guest for Bisontine for Nov/Dec. She sells over at Shabby Pickle and you really should check her stuff out, it rawks!! :D I just got the news yesterday afternoon and had to run and make a LO right away! I think this is one of my all time favorite LO's EVA. LOL I used her new kit Whispers Of Winter and Compilation Word Arts.



Oki on to some "foodie" stuff! I found a gadget that will just crack you up, well it cracked me up anyways. lol I can't imagine that this would in anyway be for efficient then just peeling potatoes by hand, but hey, what do I know?

Mon- Italian Restaurant Take Out.
Tue- Leftover Soup From Sunday.

Thur- Greek Pasta - Salad.
Fri- Sloppy Joes - Cut up carrots.

I love dollar day sales!!

Don't you just love dollar days sales? With the economy being how it is lately I have basically zero funds to go towards scrapbooking, so I get so excited when I see a store having a day a week where they put stuff on sale for a buck! I just picked up three kits at Funky Playground Designs for 3 dollars, less then what I would pay for a cup of coffee here....whoot! lol

In other news during dinner last night we had a knock on the door it was a couple workers that are working on the apartment one floor above us and to the right. Apparently they are redoing their bathroom and the workers MAY need access to a pipe we closed off when we redid our apartment. Oh course they have to redo anything they tear out of our bathroom at their cost, so they want to try and avoid that. They would actually have to go down through the next door neighbors and then through to us. They said that would be really expensive for them because they would have to redo both extra bathrooms to the way they were originally. So fingers crossed they don't have to do that because quit frankly I don't need my bathroom out of commission even for a short while..sigh...

Lastly, before I wrap things up for today I am happy to report that everything I sent with my daughter yesterday came back home AND the jacket she lost, the new one I JUST bought her, turned up..so fingers crossed it goes as well today! LOL

Thinking of using a staple gun!!

Sigh, I am so frustrated with my daughter lately! In the past two weeks she has lost gloves, hats, a jacket I JUST bought her, the plastic container that went in her lunch box and yesterday DH had to run out at 6 pm to the mall to buy her a new pair of boots because she jumped so much in a mud puddle that the boots had standing water in them and were ruined! I went to pick her up and she had her sopping wet gloves and socks stuffed in her jacket pockets. I am at my wits end! We really can't afford to be buying new stuff for her every week...sigh..anyone have any suggestions?? lol

Rain Rain Go Away!!

Blah, looks like today is shaping up to be a dreary, cold, windy and rainy day. What fun since I have to head out later to run some errands and take Sophia to her dance class. You just have to love Fall/Winters in Denmark! lol There isn't a whole lot to report today, this week is fairly event free. DH has a parent group meeting tomorrow, but that is about it. Dh's parents leave Saturday. His dad is doing tons better, so it's time for them to get going for their winter in Rome. That means we will have the car and gas prices have falling a lot lately, so that is nice. DH will drop them at the airport and I will finally get my Starbucks..whoot!! LOL I also plan on decorating this weekend, can't wait for that. Next week is going to be an interesting week though. Monday is Luca's birthday and we have a bank appointment, plus Sophia has some sort of school project week, the details are a bit vague to me, but anyways, she goes into school late Monday, then is in a different class for the remainder of the week, plus has a field trip to another school Thursday and then some sort of "Saturday School" thing with parents on Saturday. Add in dance and riding lessons and it should be a non stop week! lol

In other news I am extremely BUMMED! I went yesterday to upload a LO at 2peas, I don't normally upload all my LO's there, but decided to upload one yesterday. Well I noticed that I had two messages, I had never noticed that you could get messages there! I never received an email or anything when someone left me one. Anyways, I go to read then and they are from the editor of Scrapbook Trends wanting to use some of my LO's for their new idea book, but the messages were from JULY!! OMG, I couldn't believe it!! I am so beyond bummed. :( I emailed them back and explained the situation, but haven't heard anything back. :( What a flippin bummer, huh?

Lastly I have something funny to share with you. DH sent me the link yesterday and I thought it was a joke, but nope it is real. I have to be honest, I kind of want one now!! LOL
