Yes, I am still breathing!!

My poor neglected blog... I have just been so dang busy lately, it's nuts! Lots going on here this Sophia has had a crazy busy week with three field trips and a party today and another on Saturday. She actually crashed into bed at 7 last night, poor girl. She is having a blast though and after tomorrow will have two weeks to charge her batteries back up. DH is also off for two weeks so that is also nice. I have been making lists and checking them twice as they say. I finished wrapping and have to do a grocery run this weekend to get all the fresh stuff for Christmas dinner. Saturday we went downtown because I wanted to stop at British shop to pick up a fruit cake (yes I am odd and LOVE fruit cake LOL) and a pack of mince tarts (Mmmmm). We popped in to our favorite Asian kiosk and decided to buy a sushi making kit and try our hand at making some for New Years Eve. I also grabbed some rice paper to make some Vietnamese spring rolls. I can't wait to try my hand at making all that.

So onto some scrapping stuff. I actually managed to get three new LO's finished in the last week or so. I wanted to try and get most of my assignments wrapped up since I won't be online much over the next two weeks. So here they are, enjoy!!

The second is made with the very cool kit My Friend Loubert Perfect by Libby Weifenbach and Tracey Howard.



and lastly this has to be one of my all time favorite LO's I have made. The kit is SAVE THE MAGIC by Bisontine and come out tomorrow!

Freebie Friday!!

Foodie Friday is taking a little break until after the holidays. I am way to busy to have interesting dinners planned for the next couple weeks! Not to worry though I will be back in the new year with all new menus and fun kitchen gadgets! ;) In the meantime I have a couple treats for you today. I dug around my stash of kits I had left back from when I was designing and pulled out a couple Christmas ones that have always been my favorites! One is traditional, the other, not so much, but both fun and I hope you enjoy them!

Middle of the week ramblings....

I can't believe it is Wednesday already! This week is just flying by it seems. I am counting the days until Sophia and DH are off for Christmas break. They both get two weeks vacation, so it will be nice to have us all home here and fingers crossed healthy! I am actually feeling a bit better today (knock on wood). We actually got to see two new movies in the past couple weeks...

FRED CLAUS I really enjoyed this movie, it was cute, funny, well acted and Vince Vaughn was pretty hot in it. LOL The kids watched it the next day and really liked it also, so two thumbs up for this one!

The other movie we watched this past Friday was LAKEVIEW TERRACE. This one we didn't like all that much. I am to much of a, what's the word I am looking for, practical thinker??, to enjoy this type of movie I think. I just kept saying to DH "why don't they just do this?" or "Why don't they just ignore him??" LOL I was driving DH crazy. Oh well, the movie wasn't awful or anything, so I will give it a thumbs up. Be warned though if you are like me you will be annoyed at the characters. LOL

I also have a LO to show off today. I made it with a freebie template from Chrissy W and used Sausan Designs KARL AND KARLA kit.

I am still alive...somewhat.......

Oh man I was a horrible blogger last week, only blogged one day! Anyways, last week was crazy busy, this week is a little lighter before we head to crazy busy again. lol It was a fun week though, we got to see Sophia's first ballet recital made lanterns for the light festival and enjoyed Gløg while watching the kids celebrate Saint Lucia (pictures to follow). All that fun took it's toll though and by Saturday we were D-O-N-E, so we had a totally vegged out weekend. Everything was great until about 6pm last night when Sophia started throwing up and threw up three more times after that, so needless to say she is home today. She says she feels fine today and was sad to be missing school, but I figured it was best to keep her home, feed her a little and see if it stays down. We are all at different levels of sickness here, again. I am really starting to get feed up with the constant sickness that just keeps going around and around and around..sigh... Anyways, as I promised you here is a photo of my baby in the Saint Lucia procession...

Kind Of Hit And Miss This Week....

Not sure how much blogging I will be doing this week since I have a gazillion things to do! It's true to, a gazillion, I promise you? LOL One thing I do NOT need to do is anymore Christmas shopping! Whoot! We headed out to the mall yesterday and grabbed the last couple things I needed, well I still need wrapping paper, but that isn't a biggie. I actually did most of my shopping online and am waiting on the last couple packages. Hopefully they will be here shortly! In other news Sophia had her big sleepover party on Friday and she had a BLAST. She was up to midnight because they were looped up on soda and candy..oy vay, but she had a great time, so I will let that slide. lol Tonight is her dress rehearsal for her ballet show that is tomorrow night. Ack, I just have so much to do this week! I guess that will wrap things up for today. Short and sweet. Hopefully I will have a LO to show off tomorrow! Have a great day and until next time...TATA!
