With all this contemplating about what I want to accomplish in the coming year, I have also been thinking about what I want this blog to be about. I think I am pretty happy with the way it shaped up last year. I like the "little bit of everything" theme I have and been thinking of expanding on that to include craft ideas, photography promps and tips, more cooking/foodie content and of course more scrapbooking stuff. No worries to those of you that use it to keep up with what's going on in my life, I'll still have day to day nuggets of info about how we are all doing and all that interesting stuff. ;)
So anyways, that was a lot of rambling, wasn't it? lol Sophia headed back to school today, she was very excited to be able to finally hand out her birthday party invites. Her birthday is actually this Thursday but that is WAY to short of notice to spring a party invite on parents so I planned the party for the 17th. Sophia wanted to have a "Tea Party" theme so that is what we are going with, Later this week I will blog about what the party will entail, show you the invite etc...
Finally in scrapping news, my ego has taken a hit as I have been turned down for two guest spots in the past two weeks, sucks, but what can you do! I already CT for and guest for some awesome ladies, so I can't complain to much. ;) I also finished a LO! I really didn't have time to do any over the holidays, so it was nice to finally be able to sit down and create one....

I had no idea Ashley and Sophia shared the same birthday!! How cool. That is a great idea holding off on the party, I never thought of that.....we send our invites out before the christmas break...so I think they tend to be forgotten about.
Awesome LO and congrats on the publication! I know if I were a designer I wouldn't think twice about inviting you on my team....you are awesome!!

Eve it's always a joy to read your blog. Your blog is always full of directed thoughts and random ones - always a nice mix. It's what i want my blog to grow to be one day, so don't change a thing lol.
that layout is AWESOME AND i need to make a note to check out page 164 to see your other. If you ever want to guest CT for me you're in there darlin' lol.

Well, Eve, if an amazing scrapper like you were turned down, it makes me feel better about the rejection I got this week!
I have the similar sort-of-resolutions -- just ideas and hopes and aspirations for the New Year. Good luck!

Those are such great goals for 2009, Eve! :) I hope you'll join in on the Project 365, you can start on ANY day and even catch up yet this week- it's only a few days and will be so worth it at the end of the year.
Designers are crazy not to take you onto their teams. I have to admit, last week was a rejection week for me too, but all is good! :) You're SO talented, just look at that beautiful page. And congrats on the pub!
Hope you have a great week!

Start today with the 365, there is no rule it has to start on 1/1!
If you are getting turned down for CTs I guess I'll not get my feelings hurt any more, your pages are amazing!
Congrats on being published!
