All About Me And A Bag Of Chips!

Things that piss me off....

Maybe I should make this regular column! lol Last night whilst we were enjoying our dinner the upstairs neighbor knocked on our door and informed us that they are going to be redoing their bathroom, which means that their contractor is going to have to come into MY (newly renovated) bathroom and rip out the ceiling to get access to their toilet drainpipe. Of course they have to put it back exactly as they found it at no additional cost to us, but it still means my bathroom is going to be somewhat out of commission for 2-3 days. That was their time schedule, but the contractor hasn't even been down to see what he has to tear out and there is no way he can tear down, fix their pipe, put the ceiling back up, plaster it again and paint in 2-3 days! Of course stuff like this stresses me out big time, so I am not a happy camper about this AT ALL.

We are four people here, 3 of us go to school/work, we need showers and the fourth, me, needs to be able to, you know, pee during the day while she is here! LOL Sigh, alas there is no way to get around it I guess. DH is taking two days vacation the days they are planned to be here so he can keep an eye on them. Something to look forward to in November..weee! *rolling my eyes*

Alas nothing much interesting is happening in my neck of the woods today so I will beguile you with shoes, yes that is right SHOES!! LOL I love shoes and I need to buy the kids some new ones and maybe..just maybe...a pair for myself! They just opened a SKETCHERS in the mall here and have some cool shoes so I think I will pop in their and see what I can find. I want to get both kids a pair of crocs this year. Sophia had a pair last year and LOVED them, but I couldn't find any small enough for Luca. So hopefully this year I will be able to find some for him also. They'll both need one other type of shoes also though. So let us take a looksie!!

Meal Planning Friday and Spring Cleaning.....

So let me just star with a huge "THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!" I am so ready for this week to be done! I am actually all excited because tomorrow I plan on doing some Spring cleaning. I told DH not to make any plans because we are cleaning and organizing from top to bottom. I have to go through the kids plethora of toys and pack up the ones that never get played with and toss the ones that are broken etc. Pull everything off selves and dust, pack up stuff that never gets used etc. I LOVE to just sit after I am all done and soak in the cleanness and order (for the couple hours it lasts before the kids let loose again lol). So have you done your Spring cleaning yet? Plan on doing it soon and have some good tips? Feel free to share them with me! So onto my meal plan for the coming week. I am looking forward to this week as there are a bunch of yummy sounding dishes I will be trying!

Meal Plan for the week of 8th until the 13th.

• Sat: Creole tuna cakes with steamed asparagus and a salad.
• Sun: Broccoli soup with whole wheat rolls.
• Mon: Ricotta chicken with baked sweet potatoes and steamed green beans.
• Tues: Oven BBQ salmon with roasted asparagus and whole wheat couscous.
• Wed: Gourmet grilled cheese with spinach salad.
• Thurs: Hoisin chicken with brown rice and steamed broccoli
